Frequently Asked Questions
Has it ever happened to you that the teacher explained a subject, and then asked if it was clear? And then everyone looked at each other: no one understood and everyone was embarrassed to ask. Do not lie, we know it has happened to you; it has happened to us. So, here you can find answers to some questions without having to ask anyone. Do not say that we are not thinking about you.
Exams
How to present an exam?
How do you perform the proctoring of exams?
In general we have 3 proctoring systems:
- Proctoring performed by the partners: for the exams that are on-site;
- Proctoring by our staff (invigilators): this is done randomly in the exam sessions to support the IA.
- Proctor monitoring by AI (automated and default in all exams): In summary, it is an AI that invigilates via webcam and microphone, 3 key aspects:
- The non-presence of more people at the exam site.
- The improper use of external elements
- The presence of the candidate during the examination session
If at any time during the exam any of the rules are broken or the participant turns off the camera, the exam is suspended and may be cancelled if cheating is discovered.
What are the PUCs?
PUCs (Professional Update Credits) are the method by which we validate your continuous professional improvement in a certification. A PUC is equivalent to a determined amount of time in an area related to a specific certification (For example, a 10-hour course can be equivalent to 10 PUCs). Badges
What are the badges?
A digital badge is an image that allows to represent skills and other educational achievements, some people consider it the replacement of certification diplomas.
It is a tool for identifying and validating the wide range of knowledge, skills and abilities that individuals may have. It is an indicator of achievement or quality that can be obtained in many learning environments.
A digital badge consists of two elements:
- an image that represents the achievement in a visual form
- Metadata, referring to specific data whose purpose is the validation of the origin, the issuer, its authenticity and among others.
They provide more information than a paper diploma or PDF, since it stores more information, so it would be possible to link an academic accreditation to a badge.
Particularly at CertMind, our badges are delivered thanks to a partnership with the company Insignium.uk that delivers a specialized type of digital badge containing verifiable metadata about achievements according to a common data format, under the Open Badges specification.

Change my role
When you have several roles on the platform (e.g. Student and Partner) you can easily switch roles, this allows you to access the different options you have in each role.
An example of this could be when you are the administrator of a partner (company) and you need to take a certification exam.
